Survivor Winners at War Week 4 Review and Player of the Week

A season 20 years in the making is already in its fourth week. Feels like just yesterday I watched the premiere. But just like the strategy this season, the season itself is going at a fast pace and now I’ll make sense of what we just watched.

All About Adam

Adam’s (former?) allies take turns explaining why Adam was left out of the loop the last vote, which gives Rob and Parvati a lot to assess moving forward. On one hand, the tribe is very annoyed with Adam for divulging their plan. On the other hand, they just lost their only other ally in Ethan. Adam is also aware that he needs to make it up to his allies if he wants them to work with them. They see Adam as a liability but are still fixated on the Parvati/Rob duo and the danger they possess. This group of seven would have a lot of moving forward to do and you would think it would need to happen soon if they are to win the next immunity challenge.

Happy Days on Dakal

Whether it’s a new player cast or one of all winners, going 6 days without Tribal Councils is a posterboard blessing with some subtle curses. Yul paints the picture of a seemingly unified Dakal. Avoiding Tribal Council keeps you safe, but also keeps your targets in the game too. If they make a swap or merge, that can be your undoing. It isn’t strategy that breaks up the literal hug-fest though. What lies directly across the ocean is the Edge of Extinction. Seeing those players in the distance reminds the players of a…
