Ben, Denise, Jeremy, Kim, Michele, Nick, Sarah, Sophie, and Tony remain. We are into the single digits in terms of players left in the game (not going the growing population at Edge of Extinction) and with Tyson voted out last week, there is currently no one active in the main game that has experienced Edge of Extinction. Let’s see what happened this week!

Lonely Island

Jeremy reflects on his decision to use the Safety Without Power. Jeremy’s solitude is broken by the return of the remaining players. He notes Tyson’s absence, and the ensuing conversations and confessionals hint that it’s still a strong 5–4 divide in favor of Ben, Nick, Sarah, Sophie, and Tony. Speaking of Tony, he’s finally going on his first idol hunt of the season. He thinks everyone is asleep but then he is joined by Nick which compromised the situation a bit. Tony convinces Nick to divide and conquer (or as Nick’s old friend Christian Hubicki would suggest, a “breadth-first search”). It works out in Tony’s favor as he finds the Hidden Immunity Idol. This is the danger Tony presents when you leave him in the game for this long. Tony without an idol is a dangerous player. With one he can possibly be the most powerful player.

Survivor Fashion Show

Sarah’s social game is on full display as she leads the women in an impromptu fashion show, which Tony isn’t interested in. This is a side of Sarah we rarely see on Survivor as she is usually a rough and tumble…
