Survivor Winners at War Week 3 Review and Player of the Week

It’s still early days, but in modern Survivor with Edge of Extinction active, it just means the edge is getting crowded, the advantages keep circulating, and players are even more so thinking a few further steps ahead than they should. For some it hurts their position in the game, for others it is starting to set them up nicely. Ironically the person who said they were most concerned with just getting through last night’s vote was the one whose torch was snuffed. How did it end up being that person, another player expected to go much further this season for the second week in a row? That’s where this blog comes in.

Unanimity Deceives Clarity

Adam immediately is thinking about the next move, but his actions throughout the episode show that it is overthinking. He gives Denise his half of the idol back (which is probably the only good move he makes this episode, solidifying that alliance) but then he tells Ethan about possibly voting out Parvati. Ethan appears to understand, but in confessional he is very against targeting Parvati and views her as his number 1. This is a similar mistake to one Adam made in Millennials vs. Gen X where he told Taylor, after having blindsided his closest ally Figgy, that he planned on targeting Will. Sometimes Adam tries to make allies out of everyone even when it’s unlikely to happen.
