The Challenge Spies Lies and Allies: The True Contenders Among the Veteran Players
The veteran alliance’s goal this season was to keep a rookie-rookie team in existence as an easy vote to send into elimination. Thanks to Priscilla’s bold move by stealing Josh from Ashley, that is no longer possible. With all of the vets now vulnerable and the truce null and void, I decided to go one by one and assess if this is their season to win the first, second (in Amber’s case), third (Ashley), or fifth (Uncle CT) Challenge championship. Both their ability to make the final and reach the final will be considered. Without further ado, let’s find out who the true contenders are.

Amber Borzotra: Prove You’re Not One and Done
Winning a champion final on her rookie season already sets herself apart from many of the vets. Amber is the only other veteran on this cast to accomplish this, with CT, Kaycee, Kyle, and Tori losing the finals they made on their rookie seasons. However, Amber is still the least experienced of the vets and that plays a role in how she’s less connected in comparison. If Amber is to make the final, she likely has to survive at least one other elimination. But she has already proven to be a contender, even if winning a second title will prove to be a big mountain to climb.
