Survivor Winners at War Week 9 Recap

The merge set the stage for more action tonight, time to see where that action took the Survivor contestants this week. As it turns out, it took them (and the viewers) for quite a spin.

Blindside Fallout

Nick and Michele were both pissed about the blindside. I guess that’s a part of the game that Nick hasn’t improved on since David vs Goliath. Adam mentions to Michele a familiar emblem at Jeff Probst’s podium as it also appeared on Denise’s idol. It sounds like a wild leap in logic, but then again, why not hide an idol somewhere like that in this kind of season?

Edge of Extinct-Zen

While Parvati leads another yoga session, Yul brings forth another Edge of Extinction task. The group splits off into pairs, with Wendell and Yul unknowingly being exiled by the Edge of Extinction “OGs”. The clue is a call back to Survivor: Edge of Extinction, and upon Danni mentioning that in confessional, Parvati finds the advantage. A new twist, a 50/50 coin. By flipping this at one time at Tribal Council up until the Final 7, it will either give the user immunity or keep them vulnerable. Parvati sets the price at 4 fire tokens knowing Michele had that many Fire Tokens so she could buy some food while on the Edge. Initially her instinct was to keep it for just Danni and herself, but then she decided to include Natalie, Amber, Ethan, and Rob in this…
